Marine Operations marine operations

Marine Operations supports San Francisco State University students, faculty, and staff in conducting marine research by providing research vessels, oceanographic sampling equipment, operator training and field logistics support.

Private companies, institutions and other organizations conducting scientific research on San Francisco Bay may charter vessels through Marine Operations. To qualify, charters must be for research, education or data collection purposes that further scientific knowledge.

Marine Operations is also the home of the San Francisco State University Scientific Diving Program, which supports submerged science and education at the University.

Please visit www.questuary.org for detailed information about Marine Operations and the Scientific Diving Program.

**Congratulations to RTC students Stephanie Kiriakopolis and Gavin Archbald for entering the SFSU Scientific Diving Program and completing Advanced Open Water Dive Training in Monterey, CA on June 1 and 2.**
